About James
James Otis Hampton III was born in Newark, New Jersey where he attended school and graduated. In May 1997, he graduated from Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina. And from 1997 through 2009 work in New Jersey to New York City for corporate america. After leaving corporate James decided to follow his true passion and attended Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science and graduated in 2010 and in the same year he improved his professional status by passing the National Conference of Funeral Services Examiners Board. From there he worked in Atlanta, Baltimore and came back home to North Carolina.
James O. Hampton III first established Hampton Mortuary LLC in 2020 pledging to provide superior service to all who walked through his doors.
